More travels into Kakadu National Park, to Koolpin Gorge, which is also known as Jarrangbarnmi.

It’s about a 5 hour drive from Darwin, down The Track and turn left and Pine Creek, after a quick stop for a bite to eat at Maisey’s.

It’s real secret squirrel business – there’s no sign posts to get there.
You need a permit to go there, which is okay, since they limit the number of people who can go there. At one stage we had the place all to ourselves. Now that doesn’t happen too often in a national park!

It’s a bit of a walk to the waterholes, with some rock hopping, but it’s worth it. There are some closer waterholes, but only if you want to swim with the crocs 🙂
